Search entries
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates the tool. Montgomery County Released Inmates does not store or log those query terms on its own systems.
Messages
Information sent by email or a contact form is retained as needed to answer the message. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Automatic Technical Information
A page request may create routine technical records used to operate and understand the service. Those records can include:
- The visitor's IP address.
- Browser name and version.
- Device class and operating system.
- Pages viewed and time spent on them.
- The referring website, when supplied.
- Date and time stamps.
Cookies
Cookies may help measure visits and site use. A browser can reject or delete them, though some functions may then work differently.

Visitors Younger Than 18
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may request its deletion through the Contacts page.
Privacy Choices and Requests
Subject to applicable law and the data actually held, a visitor may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal information retained about them.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete qualifying personal information.
- Opt out of certain processing where that choice applies.
